Cedar Park Montessori exists to nurture confident, curious, kind children who love to learn, by educating each child the way Dr. Maria Montessori intended: as a whole human being, on their own developmental timeline, in a community that values them. We believe that when children are respected, supported, and given access to a carefully prepared environment, they develop into independent, self-motivated learners who carry that capacity into every part of their lives.
A graduating sixth grader from Cedar Park Montessori is not just academically prepared. They are independent, self-motivated, socially graceful, and confident in their own thinking. They know how to learn, and they want to keep learning.
We follow the Montessori method as Dr. Montessori designed it, with the protected multi-hour work cycles (3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon, which is the heart of authentic Montessori practice.
