Cedar Park Montessori is recognized by the Association Montessori International, or AMI — the highest global level of Montessori distinction — and by its national affiliate, AMI-USA. In order to earn such recognition, our schools must pass rigorous reviews and meet requirements consistent with the authentic Montessori Method of Education.
As a philosophy of education, Montessori is not a franchise and the usage of its name and pedagogical methods does not require a license or trademark. However, the only assurance that a school actually implements the full spectrum and authentic standards of the Montessori Method is through the approval of its official accreditation.
AMI schools' classrooms and standards demonstrate a singular mastery and adeptness in teaching the fundamental Montessori concepts, along with monitoring the progress, learning-rate and development of the children and the levels of teacher training required.
