Texas launched its first statewide school choice program for 2026-2027, providing eligible families approximately $10,474 per student per year (up to $30,000 for qualifying disabilities). Administered by the Texas Comptroller and applied for separately.
Families interested in TEFA should check current eligibility, application timing, and approved-school status directly with the Texas Comptroller’s office at the official TEFA portal. We’re also exploring additional in-house tuition assistance programs, so please ask during your tour.
Cedar Park Montessori tuition supports the structural elements AMI Recognition demands:
If a Montessori program seems significantly less expensive than ours, we encourage you to ask: Is the school AMI- or AMS-accredited? Are the teachers Montessori-trained for the specific age level? Are the materials authentic? Is the three-hour work cycle protected?
Tuition at Cedar Park Montessori varies by program and schedule. Costs depend on the program level (Toddler, Primary, or Elementary), the schedule chosen (half-day, extended-day, or full-day), and any optional enrichment programs added on. We share specific tuition figures during your in-person tour so we can match the right schedule to your family’s needs. Sibling discounts and annual-payment discounts are available.
Cedar Park Montessori shares specific tuition figures during your in-person tour so we can walk through them in the context of your child’s age, schedule needs, and any applicable discounts. Tuition varies significantly by program and schedule, and the most useful conversation is one that ties price to a specific plan rather than a generic list. Our admissions team is happy to walk you through every cost detail during your visit.
Yes, there is a one-time application fee submitted with each application. The application fee covers the cost of processing your application and admissions review. Specific current fee amounts are shared during your tour and included in your application packet. Application fees are separate from tuition and from any deposit required upon enrollment.
Tuition includes daily Montessori instruction with Montessori-certified guides, all Montessori classroom materials, daily morning and afternoon snacks, outdoor play time, the grace-and-courtesy character development curriculum, and quarterly parent-teacher conferences. Additional costs (application fee, annual supply fee, optional enrichment programs, optional Summer Camp, and field trips for Elementary) are itemized separately so families know exactly what they’re paying for.
Some enrichment programs are included in standard tuition, while others are offered as optional add-ons at additional cost. Foundational programs woven into the regular curriculum (such as art, music, and Spanish exposure for younger children) are typically included. Specialty programs and after-school enrichment may be optional add-ons. Specific current pricing is shared during your tour.

Texas families may also be eligible for the new Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) program, which launched for the 2026-2027 school year and provides approximately $10,474 per student per year (up to $30,000 for students with qualifying disabilities). TEFA is administered by the Texas Comptroller’s office and applied for separately. We’re also continuing to explore additional in-house tuition assistance options, so families interested in any form of aid should ask during their tour.
Texas launched its first statewide private school choice program, the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA), for the 2026-2027 school year. TEFA provides eligible Texas families with approximately $10,474 per student per year (up to $30,000 for students with qualifying disabilities) that can be used toward private school tuition and other approved educational expenses. Cedar Park Montessori families interested in TEFA should check current eligibility, application timing, and approved-school status directly with the Texas Comptroller’s office at the official TEFA portal, since the program is administered by the state and details continue to evolve. Our admissions team can also walk you through how TEFA may apply to your family during your tour.
Yes. Cedar Park Montessori offers an annual-payment discount for families who pay full-year tuition upfront rather than monthly. The discount reduces the total cost and confirms your child’s seat for the school year. Specific annual-payment discount amounts are shared during your tour and confirmed in your enrollment package.
Authentic Montessori tuition reflects the structural cost of the method itself: Montessori-certified teachers complete 1 to 2 years of post-graduate training, complete sets of authentic Montessori materials can cost over $50,000 per classroom, and small class structures are designed around Dr. Montessori’s protected three-hour work cycle. Daycare and “Montessori-inspired” preschool programs generally don’t require these structural elements, which is why their costs differ. Cedar Park Montessori has maintained AMI Recognition since 1987 by holding to these standards.
If a Montessori program is significantly less expensive than Cedar Park Montessori, the difference usually reflects structural choices the program has made. We encourage you to ask: Is the school AMI- or AMS-accredited? Are the teachers Montessori-trained for the specific age level? Are the materials authentic? Is the three-hour work cycle protected? Authentic Montessori is comparable in cost to other quality private school options, and Cedar Park Montessori has held AMI Recognition since 1987.
Tuition payment schedules and due dates at Cedar Park Montessori are confirmed in your enrollment package. Most families choose either an annual lump-sum payment (which qualifies for the annual-payment discount) or a recurring monthly schedule. Specific payment timing and methods are walked through during your tour and again during enrollment, so families know exactly what to expect before the school year begins.
A 45-minute tour during the morning work cycle is the only way to truly understand what AMI-Recognized Montessori looks like. Tours run Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 AM.
