When our founding family of schools opened its first classroom in 1987, AMI-Recognized Montessori education was rare in Central Texas. Today, after nearly four decades and thousands of graduates, Cedar Park Montessori remains one of the few AMI-Recognized schools in the region, and one of the very few private Montessori schools in Cedar Park serving children all the way through 6th grade.
Cedar Park Montessori School is part of one of the largest and oldest families of Montessori schools in Greater North Austin. Our other schools include the well-known Sapientia Montessori School (since 2008) and Pflugerville Montessori (since 1987), both of which have distinguished themselves educationally and in the broader community.
 Pflugerville Montessori opens their doors, bringing authentic AMI Montessori to Central Texas. In 1997, Cedar Park Montessori opens serving NW Austin.
Sapientia Montessori opens in Cedar Park, expanding our family of AMI-Recognized schools to three campuses.
Three AMI-Recognized campuses across Greater North Austin, serving children from 18 months through 6th grade with the original Montessori method.

Cedar Park Montessori and its family of Montessori schools are AMI-Recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and by its US affiliate, AMI-USA, the world’s most prominent Montessori distinction.
